Our July 2010 Newsletter

Our summer camps in Pinecrest have been extended through the month of July. Sign up now for these popular camps.

We are in vacation for evening classes in Pinecrest and Key Biscayne but will resume in August.

Summer Fencing Camps In Pinecrest Extended

Due to high demand, we have extended our popular fencing camps in Pinecrest through July. These camps are designed for intermediate and advanced fencers. A limited number of beginners will be accepted. Equipment will be provided for beginners. Full day fencers will bring their own lunch.(No camp week of July 5.)
Full Day and Half Day Camps for fencers age 8 and up.

July 12 - 16

July 19 - 23

July 26 - 30

Full Day ( 9am - 4 pm) Camp $275.00 (per Week)

Half Day (9 am - noon) Camp $135.00 (per Week)


Our maestros will be available for private lessons and group coaching. Electric scoring equipment will be available for competition practice. To register, contact the Village of Pinecrest Recreation Center on 305.284.0900. You may register in person at the Recreation Center 5855 SW 111 St.

This camp is open to everyone. You do not need to be a member of the Miami Fencing Club to participate. Registration is limited to 20 persons. Sign up now!

Summer Vacation Schedules
Pinecrest and Key Biscayne
Our evening classes in Pinecrest and Key Biscayne will resume in August. We are open for evening classes in South Miami Middle School with a new session beginning July 6. Day classes continue at Miami Dade College on Saturdays with new sessions beginning July 10.
We will resume evening classes in Pinecrest August 23. Key Biscayne will resume evening classes August 25. Enjoy the summer

I apologize for being absent so much the past few months. I was dealing with lung cancer that proved a small distraction. I have had surgery, biopsies, and I am now cancer free! Thanks for your patience and support. I'll be back ready to go after the July 4 Holiday.
